Motorised fire dampers
In case of fire, motorised fire dampers are moved to the safety position (closed) using the spring energy of the fire damper actuator if:
- The operating temperature is exceeded in the duct or in the environment,
- A smoke detector is triggered,
- The supply voltage fails,
- The ventilation system is shutdown,
- The fire alarm system responds.
The Safety Position Lock™ function keeps the motorised fire dampers in the safety position in case of fire.
