Sustainability partnerships
Belimo and its employees engage in numerous partnerships with organisations to actively drive the progress of sustainability in the HVAC industry and support research and development of codes and standards.
Belimo is a member of the Solar Impulse Foundation’s World Alliance for Efficient Solutions. The Alliance has gathered a portfolio of 1000 innovative solutions that prove that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand. Among ththem is the Belimo Energy Valve™.
Belimo is a corresponding member of Eurovent and is represented in the newly formed Eurovent Task Force on Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The task force's objective is to work on the calculation and disclosure of the environmental performance of HVACR products.
Belimo is a member of Swissmem, the Swiss association of mechanical and electrical engineering industry and is represented in the Environment and Energy Commission. The commission's objective is to act as advisory body for the Board and Board Committee on environmental and energy policy issues.
Belimo is a member of Swisscleantech. Swisscleantech has around 500 members from all sectors who are committed to the climate. In a group we move politics and society and ensure that Switzerland is CO2 neutral by 2050 at the latest.
