Gas Consumption Halved: Belimo's Energy Savings Through Retrofitting at Großröhrsdorf Site

Belimo is committed to increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO₂ emissions in buildings. An example of our initiative is the upgrade of the heating system at our Großröhrsdorf site in Germany, which covers an area of approximately 19,000 m2.

Before our own RetroFIT+ specialists intervened, the site consumed 750,000 kWh of gas annually. Through a series of targeted adjustments and modernization measures, we successfully halved this consumption, resulting in an annual saving of 75 tons of CO₂.

The payback period was approximately one year, and the annual savings amount to EUR 38,000.
